About UCMAS

UCMAS (Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System) is a unique mental math program founded in Malaysia by Dr. Dino Wong. Its active learning and brain development concept is specific to the age group of 4-13 years. It aims to develop their latent mental power at an early age as brain development reaches its peak.

Starting from Malaysia in 1993, the UCMAS program has served 80+ countries, and more than 3 million students have benefitted from its brain development approach. It evolves a love of learning in your child and makes them motivated learners of the future.

HARVARD and STANFORD UNIVERSITY research prove that “students trained under UCMAS abacus mental math were significantly more accurate than untrained students”. Separate research conducted in Sudan resulted in a net gain of 7.11 IQ points in the group that received UCMAS training.

Also, research by Satoshi Tanaka and colleagues has shown that “UCMAS abacus experts use different parts of their brain by comparing different faces of the abacus. They relied less on the areas of the brain associated with language and more on areas associated with visual memory”.
